Last YFU orientation...

Hello everyone!

Time to update. Now I had my last serious YFU orientation about coming home, and it was very mixed. I am realizing that I got less than a month left now, and it feels very surreal. I don't wanna leave, and do I even have to do that?
Yes, I do. I do have a family in Denmark and friends of course, but it is going to be so much harder than I thought.
I have gotten a whole new appreciation for my host family, because they are my host family, because they want to, but not because they have to, and that means a lot to me!!! :)

I can't tell you how grateful I am that my host family is hosting me, but I really am!!! :)
I have just learned that my exchange year has just started. You might think - myself included - that it is over, when you enter your home country, but it is actually just starting at that point.
I have changed this year. I am now living in two different worlds! I have experienced so much, and I can barely wait to tell about everything, but I am also realizing that it isn't so exciting for people as it is exciting for myself.
I think, it is a very important lesson to learn, especially, when I have to see my friends again...
Seriously, their lives are more interesting than my own, and I can't wait to hear about everyone's experience. If I got stories to tell, they definitely got them as well!

I am excited to hear them, friends, and prepare yourself to talk a lot, when I come home - we got an exchange to do!!! :)

I hope, you are all enjoying yourself.
I am! I am finishing up last and final papers for school. I only got seven days left of school. Isn't that unbelievable. I can't believe how fast time flies, which you've probably already realized by now from my former posts!

I am going on a college visit on Tuesday with the other exchange students, so we can see how it looks like, since you hear so much about it all around you. I am excited.
It is all looking pretty good. Tomorrow, I am having my last Steel practice, and I am sure, it will be fun but sad as well... I am actually going to miss it a lot, even though it has been frustrating at moments.

I told you about my upcoming time. How does yours look like? As exciting as mine?  I hope so!!!

Love,
Jules :)
