Survival camp and packing

Hello!!!

How are you doing? This will be the last update in English. The next will be in Danish.
I only got four days left till I leave the airport here and return to my home country. What happened to the time? It feels so surreal that I will be leaving.

I never thought I would be leaving with my foot in between two worlds I can call home! When I came to the States, I did not expect it to be my second home, and I was pretty convinced that my home was in Denmark. Home is in Denmark, but I now got a second place on the other side of the world, where I have people I love - family and friends!!!

Saying goodbye is never an easy thing, but saying "see you later" is something else! I will hopefully see my best friends again, and I know I will see my family again! :)

I don't think I realize what is going on, and I don't think I will, until I am sitting on the airplane!!!
It will be a strange but wonderful thing. I feel like I am in the middle of a dark tunnel, and I will only be able to see the light, when I come to the end of the tunnel.

I have learned so much this year, and I got so many stories to tell!!!
I just came home from a survival camp, where we builded obstacles for the mud ninja run, which was really really really cool!!! :) We ran and swam in mud!
I will show pictures, when I can :)

I hope, you are all enjoying Summer and the people around you!!!
I know I am, but I also have to start packing......

Take care!! I will see you in DK!!!

Love,

Jules :)

Cincinnati and Graduation in one weekend!

Wow! This weekend is pretty full! :)
I got Friday off, so we went to Cincinnati, which was really fun. We crossed four bridges, ate a mexican restaurant, went hiking, saw a movie in a museum about tornadoes, we went on a duck ride, and we just walked a lot. It was amazing!!! :D We got our exercise, and we were tired, after two days of non-stop activities, but it was a lot of fun! :)

Yesterday I went to graduation for the seniors, which was really sad as well... it was awesome to see my good friends, but I felt like a mother in that moment, when they got their diplomas. They are all so grown up, spreading out in the world, and it reminded me of my own upcoming future, and my own graduation from public school last year. Wow, time really flies. I could just feel what I felt a year ago, plus knew feeling I got this year. So much have happened in one year, and I took myself wondering how the future might look like... Gymansium next year. A new chapter in my life. It is all very crazy.

I only got about 3 weeks left, and as I said in my earlier post it is a surreal reality. In one way I can't wait to hug my family again, but it also means I will have to leave thins new life, I have made... my exchange year has just started. I have changed. You have have changed. We will see each other with different eyes.
Life is always moving, no matter where you are...
