I am still not exactly in Christmas mood, and I still have some Christmas presents to buy.... I am so behind this year, and I got so many people to give presents to. I don't even know, where to start.
But that's just fun. I like finding presents, and I love giving.
I just miss Danish Christmas. It's kind of a bigger deal -- even though people use more lights, more decorations = it's still not the same. All the Christmas music is in English, and I can't hear or remember a lot of the Danish kind anymore...
but I mean that's kind of the experience, right? :)
I also miss snow. I know it is snowing in DK. :)
Today I just finished Poetry Out Loud, where we have to perform a poem infront of the class, and then the teacher will choose a winner in each class. That winner will compete against of the rest of the schools winners, and the winner of the school will move on to the district competition. And then it goes to the State competition. The winner of the state competition will win a lot of money. You don't really have a choice if you are in high school. You just have to perform, so it's good to finally having it over with.
We have to memorize the poem, so that can make you a lot of nervous, and a lot of people have difficulty performing their poems, even though they might having it all memorized, because they are so nervous.
My poem was called: A boat beneath a sunny sky by Lewis Carroll. A beautiful poem, and I was very pleased and happy with it!
Next week on Tuesday we have an audition at my high school, and I am planning on trying it out. Just for fun. Even though it makes me very nervous, it would definitely be an experience I wouldn't forget! :)
I have not really been posting pictures. I am sorry. I know it must have boring for a lot of you, so I will start now. Hope, you all understand that it isn't that easy to find time to do a lot of blogging and posting. This has definitely already been the busiest year of my life for now, and the time is just suddenly flying a lot faster, than I realize.
It is already in the middle of December. Are you cray? :)
